Facts About The Wells Creek Water Association:
1. What is WCWA?
(Wells Creek Watershed Association) is an organization of concerned citizens who banded together to form this organization devoted to the clean up, restoration and future conservation of Wells Creek. It was formed in 1999.

2 How is it constituted?
It has a board of directors, made up of nine (9) unpaid volunteers who are active in the environmental field; some of whom are professionals and some of whom are knowledgeable lay persons.  They serve three year terms.

3. How often does the board meet?
Monthly. Meetings are held at Fitzi’s Pub in Listie, usually on the second Thursday of the month. Meetings are open to the public and anyone is welcome to sit in our meetings to get a clearer idea of what we do and how we do it. 

4. What is The WCWA mission statement?
To promote restoration and conservation of the natural resources of The Wells Creek Watershed and to conduct educational and scientific investigations and research related to the total environment within and bordering the Wells Creek Watershed.

5. Why should people join WCWA?
To help clean up Wells Creek and restore it to the cold water fishery that it was in the early 1900s.

Membership dues are tax deductible under IRS rules. We are a non-profit group.
Anyone interested can recieve a newsletter with updates twice a year with all the happenings within the watershed & a special members only newsletter at the end of the year.
